Maybe start with a small arrangement and a few little easy plants . . . in a corner or something. Gee...do you have a shady coolish spot for ferny stuff?Junehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11710135137635433217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8110639299208633529.post-21208186618392016512011-02-21T10:25:58.198-05:002011-02-21T10:25:58.198-05:00Husband and I dug out stones from the stonewalls a...Husband and I dug out stones from the stonewalls and made our front walk. It looked gorgeous until they sank a little and the lawn began to overgrow them. So look into the prep first. And make sure your back is good and strong before you start hauling those things.

As for "the more you move, the more you want to," seems like the more I move, the more I hurt myself. During that rock-gathering for the front walk, I managed to whip a tiny branch across my eyeball and scratch my cornea. Do some herbs and maybe some really simple plantings that take care of themselves except for watering..like radishes or onions or peppers...marigolds...wandering jew...you get the drift there? Then down below, some rocks going down that back hill in your yard picture...or in the side yards... get some container plants and make your containers be the spaces between the rocks in the bed...ROCK GARDENING!!! Or, like me, you could just stick rocks around and label them as different types! Just a thought!!Perihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12157080032902957640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8110639299208633529.post-28079510565812364712011-02-17T13:53:45.022-05:002011-02-17T13:53:45.022-05:00Ya can start small and just add to it each year. ...Ya can start small and just add to it each year.
