Leather

Do you remember Leather Tuscadero? Last week, for some reason, DH called me "Leather". I thought that would be a perfect name for this wild and crazy gal (since she has a leather face). Just posting a couple of quick shots of her now that's she is done. Hope you like this wild child.

Uggh, for some reason, I just don't feel motivated - artistically, that is. I don't know what will be next on my list of creative endeavors, but going to the tax guy will have to suffice, since that's what we get to do tomorrow.

Big Brother and American Idol will feed my desire for the bizarre tonight. That's it for now. See you later.

p.s. let me know what you do when you are just absolutely stuck on what to do next.

It looks like I have missed a few posts. I was just thinking - How can I organize all my pens and pencils and all the other things for journaling. The soup can! I think I will cover mine with wallpaper. Leather is great! I can always count on you to color my world! You have a great collection of fabrics.

Hey, thanks for the link up. Your soup cans are pretty snazzy. Leather is pretty funky too. She reminds me of an angel doll I made years ago. I just sewed a bag and gathered it up and stuck her head in. Every Christmas I put her on the steps.

Each time I hear Amanda Overmyer sing on AI, I'm reminded of Leather Tuscadero. Then I think to myself, "oh lord, Leather even predates the EIGHTIES!"

Another fine doll, m'lady!

Susan, when you feel like that, you must simply ride the wave...I am a firm believer of cycles in life and, like the moon, and I have my ascending phase, a full one and a descending one...It is just a natural state, one that permits you to take a break, so you can come back a little later fully recharged... Your Leather doll is fantastic, she reminds me somewhat of African cloth dolls, very etnic, very lovely and vibrant. Thanks so much for participating in my YRAEC, Susan, your Dr. Spock Rat Art is fantastic! And thanks for being a regular on my blog, your visits always me smile! Have a great weekend! LuLu
