I know it's not carved in stone....

I know you have seen this picture in my profile, but here is a slightly larger version, so you can make your decision.

I took my Darling Hubby to get his hair foiled today and it looks so good. In fact it looked so good that I made an appointment to have my gray colored blond. I get home and start to have second thoughts. I love not having to color my hair. I really do. But he looks so good with his blond highlights that I think perhaps I will look that good too. I have two weeks to decide. I know my hubbs thinks I'm just perfect, no matter what. In fact, I think he was trying to dissuade me from even making the appointment. I think that I was having a very brief "oh, I'm fat and old and not that hot, anymore" moment.

I'm not asking for compliments, just your opinion. People say to me all the time, "Oh, I love your hair", but do they really? I think part of me wants to still look like I did twenty years ago, but I know that's just not possible. So, here is my request...let me know what you really think of my gray hair. I mean it has taken me a long time to get all the color off my hair and get it to this point. I will probably call and cancel the appointment for color. I just am wondering.

Well, wah, wah, the crying baby is off to get into something. Take care and when you aren't stroking my ego, do something fun. Love ya all.

Honestly? I *love* your hair the way it is. You have that young funkiness about you that most women have to pay a lot of money for and still not even come close. :) I say go with your gut feeling on this one.

I would say to leave it as is.

So, I love the two toned hair on you, always have. I think there is something very freeing to be able to sport your natural color...and look good, which you do, very.

With that said, I met you when you had that flaming red hair with the blond explosion in the front. When I think of you, that's the way I see you. Even now. I remember thinking, whoa, this is one cool chick...she needs to come to the art group! Yeah! Rock!

So, does this help you in any way...or just add to your indecision?

Us gals will love ya no matter what! :)

I agree, I like the two color thing going on. I'm thinking you should use that.....every now and then add some color.....like Pink or blue. Oh, who cares Just go with it sistah! I love how young your skin looks and then you have this lovely grey. It is whatever makes you happy!!!! Now, lets talk about me! Just kidding. Heehee

I love your hair and wish I had the guts to try something like that. Took me many years to even put some coloring all over mine. But I said I would never go to my grave with gray hair and after fifty I knew I had to do something!
