Layers keep you warmer...

I have heard it said, that layers keep us warmer when it is chilly. It is still sort of cold, so I thought I would add some layers.....so

I decided yesterday to call my stylist for an appointment and she had a cancellation for this morning. I have been wearing the other style for several years and I want to let my length grow out. I felt that I needed more defined layers to help make the transition. I am moving toward this same cut, but shoulder length. It will take a while, but I think I will like it.

That's really all for today, except for a quick update on DH. He has been doing a gallbladder/liver flush all week and is having positive results. He has been on a apple juice and water fast since Monday and can eat again tomorrow. He has been a good little soldier, so I'm off to the store to make sure he has some yummy fruit and veggies with which to gently break this fast.

Take care and have a great day!

I really like your hair-cut. It took me a while of reshaping to get my hair to my shoulders. I have mine cut to the base of neck in the back and then a little longer in the front. I have a round face and it helps slim.

Is your husband ill or is he just doing a body detox??? I am new to your blog. I hope he is doing well. We just started Clean Eating in December and that is going real well for us. Love it. I have never felt better.

It looks great!!!! I just had a good cut myself. I never like mine until a few weeks after. I am glad the DH is seeing results from the fast!

Oh my gosh! Earlier this week, Violette Clark emailed me about seeing Tricia Scott in Somerset. She was all excited because Tricia is in Roanoke. So I've been stalking...I mean, reading Tricia's blog and checking out her links.

Now here you are! In Roanoke. Sorry, I'm so excited. I don't know how I missed you guys. Looks like we comment on a lot of the same blogs and you and I do some of the same kinds of things.

Anyway, the funny thing is I know that I know you guys and have had a short convo with you somewhere in the Valley but I can't remember where (or whennnn). I live up the street from Too Many Books.

Ok, before I scare you off I better stop here. It's just so exciting to find artists in blogland so close to home. (especially when I love your art!)

Great haircut. Layers are easier to me and make me look like I have more. You have gorgeous eyes!
Best to your hub.

I love the hair! I also hope the fast helped your husband. It must have been difficult to only drink juice and water for so many days, but it's definitely better than surgery. I bet those veggies and fruits tasted good!
Take care,
Angela

Hi Susan. Just wanted to thank you for the sweet email regrading my jasper. He really is doing pretty well right now.. even wanted to go outside and dig in the garbage!! crazy cat. Hes been eating baby food and some catfood and jumping on the table and counter.. so I would say.. hes not to bad off right now.. but if I notice that he is suffering, I wont let that continue for long. He is such a precious little baby! almost 17!
thanks again for your care and concern.
hugs!

I'm glad to hear your hubby is doing better. As for you hair, I love your hair shorter and also longer. You are lucky because you can wear your hair in so many ways and it looks good. Love the layers. Take care honey!

I like your layers! I have been thinking of doing something similar with my hair.
I would like my hair to grow long again, but every time I try, I look horrible! I think layers may help!
Thank you!
