Tip for the day

One quick tip...when using your embroidery presser foot, with your feed dogs lowered...

BE SURE TO TURN OFF YOUR MACHINE if you have a bobbin jam.

Yep, I just pierced my fingernail with the sewing machine needle. Doesn't hurt yet. I don't know how deep it went, but it did bleed some and I cleaned it and put some anti-bacterial oinkment on it, so it should be fine.

My fault for doing something on impulse. Have a great weekend!

Ouch! I hope you didn't hurt yourself too badly.

Your resin/art/bottlecaps look terrific, by the way. I love how you always share your new projects with us.

I hope you have a terrific weekend.

your the second blog Ive read in the last 10 minutes where someone pierced their finger with something. The other one, Kecia, put a small crochet hook through her finger and had to go to the hospital to get it out!
Ok.. now be careful.. no more accidents for the weekend!

I am always afraid I am going to do that. I hope it did not get to sore. Thank you for sharing about the resin. You took the scare right out of it. When you get a chance I have an award for you on my blog. I do not really do the awards thing anymore, but I wanted to do this one as a way of saying thank you for your friendship!

hi susan
think you have to do these things oncein your life.
I did it in my young days, so as Ive got older I know not to do it.
Better watch out, famous last words. Anyway hope it didnt hurt too much. we'll blow you a kiss to kiss it better for you XXX
Not like the crochet hook in the finger that must have been a bit of trauma.

I hope your finger doesn't hurt too bad to create!

Thank you for checking in on me while I was away. That was really nice and thoughtful of you. And truly appreciated!

Hey Susan,
Thanks for your wise advice. A Walk In The Park may be in order.
Take care of that finger. Watch out for anything looking red or swollen.

My sister did the same thing with an industrial sewing machine many years ago. It hurts just thinking about it! I hope your finger is better.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog with the nice comment!

Yep, been there too. It only takes one time and you will never do it again. Whenever the situation arises I remember that time.
Hope your finger feels better soon.
