It doesn't happen often...

But every now and then, a movie comes along that you are invested in. Totally committed to. That movie just may be The Artist.  If you are a lover of Silent Movies, I mean the "real deal" silent movies, from way back when...then you will be in awe. Hopefully you will be able to avoid spoilers until you see the film, but if not, it really wont matter.  It's that good.

I, for one, love a movie that I connect with emotionally and since I couldn't stop the tears (the good kind) from flowing even after the credits were done...I'd say it fits the bill.

If  you aren't a movie goer but still love this genre, (i.e. silent and awesome) bide your time and I'm sure it will be out on DVD soon.  This will translate beautifully to the small screen. I certainly plan on adding it to my library of movies.

Well, that's it for me for today.  Hopefully, I'll be back soon with some of the nifty projects that I'm working on.  Until then, enjoy the movie review.

Love ya!

Cool!! I LOVE silent movies. The real deal too. Although I have seen some really dark foreign silent movies that I wasn't too fond of. Problem is, I'm not a movie theater goer. The last movie I saw at a theater? Let's see... Raising Arizona back in '87. Truthfully, I haven't been keen on any movies out of Hollywood for a very long time. But I trust your judgement and will wait for it on DVD. Thanks!

Speaking of silent movies, Karen...have you seen Nosferatu? It is awesome, as is Metropolis. Last week we watched Charlie Chaplin in The Circus. One of my favorite Chaplin films. Too bad all of us (bloggie buddies) don't live within watching distance. We would have movie nights all the time.

Silent movie night! Wouldn't that be fun?! I've never seen Nosferatu. I watched Battling Buster a few weeks ago. :> )

I haven't seen many Keaton movies. There is a pretty good website called "The Silent Era" that you may want to check out, also.
