Stuff is still happening...
Of course, things are still happening with my remodel, they're just not so dramatic as before. The things that are happening are the things that will really make the whole project complete.
Like some new appliances...
and a wall of cabinets...
One of the things that is going to be everyone's favorite change is the archway. I don't know if you remembered that I had them cut an opening from the sunroom to the dining room. Well, they trimmed that today and I finally got a feel for it.
and last, but certainly not least, we got the last window cut out today...
You are probably noticing a few other things like ceiling fans and such. Little touches like that are big changes for me. I don't remember ever having a ceiling fan or a light dimmer. Now I have both.

I haven't had time to follow many blog right now, but I had to come over and take a peek. It reminds me when we did a huge addition and remodel to our house almost 30 years ago. We just sold that house and now we're going to move into a condo. Anyways, I love seeing your before and during photos. I just know you'll really love it once everything is finished.
most be exciting for you to get all this work done! Id love to redo my old house... but will not be happening any time soon! LOL!
Love what youre doing with yours though and Im looking forward to seeing it all finished and put back together again.

Looks like you are on the winding up or rather down portion. The former garage is finally starting to come together and look like a room, the kitchen is nearly ready for meal preparations! Ceiling fans and lights that dim? That is a new thing I didn't know was going to happen. Cool! Just under a month so far...amazing crew! Still loving seeing the progress and glad you are back to blogging!

Hey Susan, LOVE your new kitchen. It is so light and open. You really did a great job planning this whole thing out. Going to CA next Fri to visit Layne and your sister and Peg. I'm sure your ears will be burning when we get together and rave about your new rooms!
