Let's clean the house today
I am easily amused. I want to do some house cleaning today, but I want to look good doing it. Who knows who might see me carrying trash outside, or maybe that cute UPS guy may make a delivery. Perhaps I was just bored, but this is how I dressed to clean house today...
I don't know why I'm like this. I always have been. I have been draping myself in beads, lace and sequins for most of my life. Shucks, if someone would send me a tiara, I would wear it while I clean.

It started when you were a baby and Grandmother let you play with her beads and "the foxes", I imagine. You wore beads before you could walk, Kiddo!
But we all know you are not cleaning the house, you are dressing up for the people who come to clean the house!

You look great! I try to wake up early and get dressed for the day. If I don't do it then it does not get done. I have to admit I seem to be slacking a bit since Lilly arrived. Lilly is two and when I do sit at the makeup table, she is right by my side painting her face as I paint mine.I had to do a little catching up on past posts. The porch looks great and I love the furniture you picked.I also want to try the recipe, Lilly will love those!
