Danger, Will Robinson....Danger...

I can't help but feel jittery when I hear the Emergency Alert System break into my television program.  I'm still breathing rapidly.  The Alert System just scared/alerted us to the fact that a snow storm is definite in our area starting around midnight, starting as rain (scarrrrry rain) and changing over to wet snow possibly causing significant (?) accumulation in some areas, tapering off Monday morning.

The local weather gals and guys have been getting us ready for snow since Wednesday.  Everyone should have had ample time to get in extra supplies.

We keep enough water and food in the house to keep us safe for several days (probably ten), we have candles and plenty of blankets if we lose power.  With all this being said, why do I still feel scared?  I think it must be the sound of that dang alert system taking over my television. That is unnerving.

Well, that's it for me for now. Off to make sure the hubby puts the car in the garage. I'll keep you posted. Stay safe and warm and don't go out if you don't need to.

I cant remember where you live, but here, we are so used to snow storms they dont unnerve me, unless Im worried about driving in them or getting stuck somewhere other then home. Weve had a very strange winter this year. like today for instance, LOTS of snow this morning.. and totally gone this afternoon! we usually have snow on the ground most of the winter... very little this year. Not complaining though. I seriously dont miss it!
stay warm and safe!!

the robot (which was not given a name in the series) is what attracted me to check your post. Hope the weather was no big deal and no robots were harmed (or people too).

Hang in there, Peachy! Sounds like you're all set for any kind of storm. So no worries.
Here in Central New York we're always ready for massive snow, but when I hear the EAS I still get a little jittery.
We have had a freaky winter. First time ever I can remember having little to no snow. I prefer having lots of snow. Then I know everyone's wells will be fine come summer.
