We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing
He chastens and hastens His will to make known;

I sang this song as a child in Thanksgiving church service. The words still touch me. I pray that you and your family and friends have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

How interesting that you picked this hymn...I was riding in the car the other day and was singing it! We used to do that as kids...ride along and sing hymns. Wonder if anyone still does that? Blessings to all..a bit belated as it may be, it is still sincere.
