Rest in Peace, Ishtar

My sister, Peri and her wife Peg lost their sweet baby girl cat Ishtar today.  She was over sixteen years old and was a sweetheart of a cat.

She will be missed.

That's really all I can type right now.  Darn, this has been a long year.

Thanks, Suze! For anyone interested -Ishtar was a feisty, catnip loving, bossy girl. She had been de-clawed on the advice of a vet whose staff was afraid of her scratching them during nail trimmings and she learned to make a fist and hit so hard she could raise a "goose egg" on you wherever she hit you! She lined her condo with catnip mice to rest her butt on and would whap you if you touched one..."Buttmice" were for her alone.
This has been a long year indeed for our family. But we will get through this loss too and the remodels will actually help because they force us to accept change...so all three move forward with good memories.
